Welcome to the HLT Evaluation Portal



The HLT Evaluation Portal is designed to provide the latest news, events and relevant information about evaluation activities in Human Language Technologies.

The general aim of the portal is to promote HLT evaluation, particularly ELRA’s activities in this field:



  • Setting up an infrastructure for HLT evaluation in Europe (network of evaluation centres)
  • Producing and distributing evaluation packages (training/test data, scoring software, evaluation protocols/methodologies etc.) via ELRA's catalogue
  • Carrying out independent and, therefore, ethical evaluations on demand
  • Being a European clearing house for evaluation and evaluation resources
